Classic : All Asanas are done one after the other, and the class includes a basic variety. Therefore the class may be slower and easier to follow.
Open : Everything's possible. The style depends on the teacher, the day, who's coming, the weather ... :) The class may have a special focus, and asanas may be linked into series.
Vinyasa : translates as 'to place / move - in a special / particular way'. I.e. interweaving postures, breath and movement to experience & enjoy the resulting focus.
Vinyasa Flow : as above but with elements from Shiva Rea's Prana Flow Yoga.
TriYoga : 'Tri' stands for 'Trinity'. The Trinity manifested in the physical, subtle and causal body, as well as the three qualities of energy (sattvic, rajasic, tamasic) and their expressions (Balance, Aktivity, Stability).
The flow and awakening of prana in a series of postures is the basis of Triyoga.
Downtempo : A slower paced class designed to wind down physically and mentally. Emphasis is placed on longer holds in all asanas, the use of props, pranayama and meditation techniques.
Special addtional class bis 22 March. thursdays from 12 Jan. at 17:30 - 19:00.
Ashtanga : The former Course is now an open Class - beginn 16th Jan. Nathalie teaches parts of the first and second Series Ashtanga, with a different emphasis every time.
All classes are designed on a daily basis and vary and grow with its participants. Wherever you are, you'll be challenged and encouraged. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Generally we prefer a dynamic style to keep the body & mind warm, soft & supple ...
